Platform & Upstream Terms
Platform & Upstream Terms
Last updated: 2026-07-16
This platform terms disclosure applies to the website, products and services offered under the brand WAAPI, operated by WAAPI (“we”, “us”, “our”), acting as the business. By accessing or using our services you agree to this platform terms disclosure. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the services.
1. Why this page exists
Software delivered through a chain of operators can leave you unsure whose rules actually bind you. This page removes the doubt: it names every operator above us in the chain, links their terms, and states how those terms interact with ours.
Upstream operators
WAAPI operates this platform directly. There is no reseller or upstream licensor above us; our own obligations to you are set out in the Terms & Conditions. The third-party platforms we build on are listed in the sub-processor register.
2. Connected channels bind you too
Independently of the chain above, every channel you connect imposes its own terms directly on you — Meta’s for WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Meta Ads (see our Meta Platform Policy), Google’s for Business Profile and Google Ads (see our Google API Services disclosure), and your payment gateway’s for payments. Those platforms can restrict, suspend or ban your account or phone number under their own rules and on their own judgement. We cannot overturn such a decision, and it does not entitle you to a refund.
3. What we are responsible for
We are responsible for the platform we give you, our own security, our own billing, and the support we promise. We are not responsible for an upstream operator’s or a channel’s decisions, outages or price changes — but we will tell you about them promptly and honestly, and pass on whatever remedy is available to us.
