Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-16

This acceptable use policy applies to the website, products and services offered under the brand WAAPI, operated by WAAPI (“we”, “us”, “our”), acting as the business. By accessing or using our services you agree to this acceptable use policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the services.

1. Golden rule

Message only people who have consented to hear from you, about things they consented to, with a working way to opt out — and honour opt-outs immediately. The detail is in our Anti-Spam & Messaging Consent Policy.

2. Prohibited content & conduct

  • Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging of any kind, and use of purchased or scraped contact lists.
  • Illegal content or activity — including content prohibited under Rule 3(1)(b) of the Indian IT Rules, 2021 (defamatory, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, harmful to children, misleading, or threatening public order).
  • Fraud, phishing, impersonation, or misleading sender identities.
  • Restricted goods and services prohibited by a connected channel’s commerce policy — including weapons, illegal drugs, adult services, and unlicensed gambling or financial products.
  • Malware distribution, probing or breaching the platform’s security, evading rate limits, or scraping the platform.
  • Sharing your account or API keys with an unauthorised party, reselling access without authorisation, or using the platform to build a competing service.
  • Uploading sensitive personal data (health records, payment credentials, biometric or government identifiers) without a lawful basis and a plan that supports it.

3. Channel rules

You must also comply with every connected channel’s own terms — see the Meta Platform Policy and the Google API Services disclosure. Channel providers may independently restrict your numbers or accounts; such action is outside our control.

4. Enforcement

We may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy — immediately and without refund for serious violations. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

5. Reporting abuse

To report abuse of our platform, contact us using the details below with evidence — message samples, sender, timestamps.
