This Google API services disclosure applies to the website, products and services offered under the brand WAAPI, operated by WAAPI (“we”, “us”, “our”), acting as the business. By accessing or using our services you agree to this Google API services disclosure. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the services.
1. Limited Use commitment
WAAPI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Concretely, that means we commit to all of the following in respect of data received from Google APIs:
- Provide or improve only user-facing features. We use Google user data solely to deliver the features you enabled and that are prominent in our interface.
- No advertising. We do not transfer or use Google user data for serving advertisements — including retargeting, personalised or interest-based advertising.
- No selling. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it to data brokers or information resellers.
- No human reading. We do not allow humans to read Google user data, unless (a) we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) it is required to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data is aggregated and anonymised and used for internal operations.
- No AI-model training. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised or non-personalised AI or machine-learning models.
2. Our relationship with Google
WAAPI is an independent software service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. “Google”, “Google Business Profile” and “Google Ads” are trademarks of Google LLC, used here for identification only.
3. Scopes we request, and why
We request the narrowest scopes our features need, and only when you initiate the connection.
| OAuth scope | Why we need it |
|---|---|
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage | Manage the Google Business Profile locations the customer connects — publish posts and media, read and reply to reviews, read insights. |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords | Create, manage and report on Google Ads campaigns for the ad accounts the customer links. |
openid / email / profile | Identify the user when they choose Sign in with Google. |
4. What we do with the data
Google data is used to display your business locations, posts, reviews and insights inside your panel; to publish the content you compose; to post the review replies you approve; and to create and report on the ad campaigns you configure. It is stored encrypted, scoped strictly to your account, and never shared with another customer.
5. Revoking access & deleting data
You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation immediately stops all further access, and we delete the OAuth tokens we held. To delete the data we already stored, follow our Account & Data Deletion Policy.
6. Your obligations to Google
Using a Google service through us makes Google’s terms binding on you directly — including the Business Profile API policies (which prohibit fake or incentivised reviews and require that review replies be genuine), the Google Ads policies, and the Google Terms of Service.
7. Google’s enforcement is Google’s
Google can suspend a Business Profile, reject a post, remove a review or disapprove an ad on its own judgement. We cannot reverse those decisions, and they do not entitle you to a refund.
